The "Eurasian Electric Bus" project has triumphed in the "Symbols of Eurasian Integration" contest for joint large-scale high-tech and humanitarian projects. The award ceremony took place on December 10 in Moscow.
Belkommunmash Holding Management Company, Open Joint Stock Company was awarded a first-degree diploma in the "Technological Sovereignty" category for the "Eurasian Electric Bus" interstate program, underscoring the initiative's importance for Eurasian Economic Union member states.
Recall that the project was initiated by the Republic of Belarus and supported by Eurasian Economic Union countries as a cooperation platform. The base model is the E321 electric bus in the "Olgerd" body, meeting modern comfort and safety standards. Since 2019, BKM Holding has been producing this vehicle for cities in Belarus and Russia, actively expanding into EAEU markets through transport supplies and joint production facilities.
The contest was organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives with support from the Eurasian Economic Commission. Out of 257 applications from all Union countries, 29 finalists were selected.
